SEPTEMBER 4TH AND 5TH, 2007

SITTING IN FOR JEFF FARIAS ON 1480 KPHX DRIVETIME

3-6 PM PDT (6-9 EDT)

SEPTEMBER 4TH TUESDAY:

JOIN ME WITH MEDIA EXPERT AND AUTHOR MARK CRISPIN MILLER AND JOURNALISTS JEFF SHARLET AND KATHRYN JOYCE TO DISCUSS "HILLARY'S PRAYER" AND THE NEW RELIGIOUS LEFT:

  • The emerging religious left--righties moving left to infiltrate or lefties moving right to triangulate?
  • If the religious right was a threat to the separation of church and state why isn't the religious left?
  • And whether it's a born-again Bush, or a born-to-run Clinton, why should American's pay a religious tithe to put a President in the White House?

Power-broker Scaife Rethinks Bill Clinton and LIKES HIM??!!!

I just thought the wingers lurking here would like to see this:
As Clinton Runs, Some Old Foes Stay on Sideline - New York TimesBack when Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was first lady, no one better embodied what she once called the “vast right-wing conspiracy” than Richard Mellon Scaife.

Mr. Scaife, reclusive heir to the Mellon banking fortune, spent more than $2 million investigating and publicizing accusations about the supposed involvement of Mrs. Clinton and former President Bill Clinton in corrupt land deals, sexual affairs, drug running and murder.

But now, as Mrs. Clinton is running for the Democratic presidential nomination, Mr. Scaife’s checkbook is staying in his pocket.
Christopher Ruddy, who once worked full-time for Mr. Scaife investigating the Clintons and now runs a conservative online publication he co-owns with Mr. Scaife, said, “Both of us have had a rethinking.”
For the rest of America I am speechless, but do want to point out an excellent argument for why We the People need to reduce the Power Class both in size and effect. Because one super-rich power broker didn't like Clinton, it cost you a national health care system and a president.

Addtionally, I'm not totally buying the revelation. I want to know what ex-Republican-Clinton has up her sleeve; remember NAFTA, CAFTA and media consolidation? Bill Clinton's support payment for the coffers that put him in office? We know how that's working for you (well, most of you). Who (beside Rupert Murdoch) has a vested interest in Clinton?

Otherwise, you do the math.
